Steve Aoki To Release 'The Truth Untold' Remix During Tomorrowland Set

On July 14, DJ and producer Steve Aoki announced that he will debut a remix for “The Truth Untold,” his collaboration with BTS, during his set at Tomorrowland on July 20. He tweeted, “Make sure u tune in the live stream or watch on my YouTube channel when I post,” adding that fans can only listen to the remix through his set since he has “no release plans” to drop it officially as of now.

Aoki first teased the remix last month, revealing that the idea came from wanting to play the song live at his sets, meaning that he had to change the original track’s slow-paced sound to be appropriate for his EDM concerts.

After announcing his plans for a remix, the artist told fans that he just had to pick a date for the song’s debut. He ended up settling on July 20, the first night of the two-day Tomorrowland festival, one of the largest and most notable electronic dance music festivals in the world.

The original version of “The Truth Untold” is from BTS’s Love Yourself: Tear album. which was released on May 18. It was the second time Aoki worked with the group, the first being for the track, “Mic Drop (Remix),” which went straight to #1 on the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart, Aoki’s first #1 single on iTunes.

Seeing how well their first collaboration did, it’s no wonder Aoki decided to team up with BTS again!
